Nadine Jolie is a former beauty editor and author of Confessions of a Beauty Addict and the popular guide Beauty Confidential: The No Preaching, No Lies, Advice-You'll-Actually-Use Guide to Looking Your Best. She is a contributor to the Vanity Fair beauty blog, teaches social media classes at LA's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and blogs daily at NadineJolie.com.
Nadine began working as a beauty editor in New York, learning the intricacies of the beauty industry and women's skincare needs while an editor at Lucky and Ladies' Home Journal. Nadine saw a void in the market and decided to blog full-time, reaching out to women hungry for honest beauty advice with her trademark down-to-earth guidance. She has built a career on teaching women to look and feel their best by arming them with simple tools, tricks and do-it-yourself lessons, and believes nothing makes a woman more beautiful than confidence and a genuine smile.
Her seven-year-old daily beauty and style blog Nadine Jolie has received millions of views, international press through outlets like Live! With Regis and Kelly, Time, WWD, The Guardian, Figaro Japan, Glamour Italia and the New York Times, and inspired the New York Post to dub her 'the poster child for the blogger generation.'
She has appeared on Today, Tyra, Anderson Cooper 360, CNN Showbiz Tonight, MSNBC, Martha Stewart Radio, Glenn Beck, and in 2 commercials as a beauty expert, and has given talks at Yale, Columbia, Penn, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Fashion Institute of Technology, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, LSU, Boston University and Beauty Industry West. She teaches classes on social media, men's grooming and the beauty industry at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and through Mediabistro.com.
While writing Confessions of a Beauty Addict and Beauty Confidential, Nadine took a freelance Creative Consulting position with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, then moved to Palm Beach/London to work as the business manager to top international polo player Carlos Gracida—the winningest player in history. She has also worked on polo projects with Memo Gracida and for the Polo Players' Support Group.
In her spare time, Nadine has a passion for polo, traveling, royalty, Pearl Jam and learning how to say 'Where is the nearest Sephora?' in new languages. She lives in Los Angeles.
