Vanity Fair’s August issue: Bright Young Things
The August issue of Vanity Fair features the fresh faces that are destined to become household names: Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Emma Roberts and Amanda Seyfried grace the cover, and inside are more beautiful kids that may become the next Julia Roberts (like, hey, her niece Emma!)…or become the next Gretchen Mol. Tear!

Hooray for tooth whitening and airbrushing!

These kids star on a little show called Gossip Girl. Maybe you’ve heard of it?
More pictures from Vanity Fair after the jump!

The cover girls: Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts, Blake Lively, Blake Lively’s amazing hair, and Kristen Stewart

Superbad’s Jonah Hill sandwiched between Transformers’ Rachael Taylor and Pineapple Express’ Amber Heard. (Maybe in a year we won’t be like…um, who?)

The Jonas Brothers…again? Oof. Okay, I hear these boys are great role models. Teenagers seem to love them. That’s fantastic. But good lord, editors of America, I don’t want them in my grown-up people magazines! Stop! The! Madness!

I loved Amanda Seyfried in Mean Girls, as I think she got some of the biggest laughs in the movie. What is up with Chace Crawford’s bad wind-machine-meets-Hugo-Boss-model-expression in the photo? And the tent Jenny Humphrey is wearing? I love my grandmother dearly bless her heart and that looks like something she might have worn to my wedding. I would pretty much pay any amount to know EXACTLY what was going through Jonah Hill’s mind during that photo shoot. Probably something along the lines of realzing that being that fat funny friend still has its perks, like having half-naked girls sprawl on top of you for photo shoots.

Oh and speaking of the Gossip Girl photo, notice the similarities to this Friends cast photo? I knew I was getting deja vu for a reason…

Even though I’m only 25, seeing all of these pictures makes me feel *old*. I’m still on the whole “Hey, Ryan Gosling’s a hot new talent, eh?” train, apparently.
Also, note to self–never look at pictures of Blake Lively while you’re having a bad hair day. Sheesh.

I agree with Tamara on the Jonah Hill thought process! HA! What a lucky guy. I looove Amanda and Blake’s dresses in the beach photo. They look amazing.

Kristin Stewart is amazing. She is going to be in the Twilight movie that comes out on November 21! She hasn’t been mentioned yet so I decided I would because I’m depending on her and Robert Pattison not to make the movie horrible and mess the whole Twilight Saga up for me. But from what I’ve seen, read ,and heared it is going to be amazing just like the book.
P.S.If you haven’t already read the series yet do it!!!
And Paramore has an amazing song for the movie called “Decode”. The music video premires on November the 3rd.I just can’t wait. And if you have read the book lets just say even though we haven’t met each other we are probably on the page with the whole loving Edward Cullen thing, right?
I(heart)Edward Cullen
Peace out.
And if you haven’t already learned by my vocab in this I’m 12 and it has been like that for a LITTLE WHILE so I’m am no where close to 13 as I wish I could be.And saying that it is clear everything I have just stated means nothing to you,(the person reading.)
With that said I’m going to listen to Paramore and watch vids on the Twilight movie like trailers and such.
Watch the movie it will be your new addiction like it is to me.

I love the beach picture with the four girls and especially all of thier dresses(mainly amanda seyfried’s dress)! and yes I have to agree with Tamaras comment, that photo of the cast of gossip girl looks an awful lot like quite a few of the Friends Cast pictures!, major deja vu…
