How to: Freshen up your makeup before going out!

HOW TO..., MAKEUP, YOU TUBE 9

Before heading to a party in Santa Monica last night, I made a quick video as I was freshening up my makeup.  (Blotting sheets are key!  Right now, I’m using Allison Raffaele’s powder-free Blotting Tissues, which I highly recommend and have been very impressed with, as they sop oil without leaving the residue that other sheets can.)

Your hair has so much body in this video! What products do you use?

Normally I just apply fresh makeup since it looks better, but yesterday I got lazy, and thought “Jolie did look pretty fresh after touching up her makeup just a little bit… so I’ll just do that!”

It was such a time saver! Plus sometimes after I take off my makeup, I just want to go to bed. =P Also my hairline and bangs didn’t get all wet.

I must try those blotting papers. I’ve been having such a problem with oil control lately.

And that has to be the most impressive eyeliner application I’ve ever seen!

great tips! I’m always afraid that touching up my makeup will make it all cakey – but I think the key is the blotting papers. My friends in college used to get so annoyed that when we’d go out after class, work, etc. that I’d insist on showering. My hair is far too greasy to go more than 1 day of washing, but I may try the hair powder sometime too.

Jolie, honey, you are a blogger. Part of the responsibility is to actually post blogs. You will lose readers (like me) if you go awol for days in a row.

Have you tried the Bare Minerals concealer? Is that any good? Currently I’m just using regular concealer because when I put more Bare Minerals on top of my dark areas they just get darker and not “concealed.”
