Neutrogena and Teen Vogue makeup and skincare giveaway
A reader emailed me recently asking which teen magazines I loved. We discussed how Teen Vogue is one of the only good ones around and bemoaned the lack of quality publications for teens remaining on the stands (Sassy, we hardly knew ye!). So, how’s this for a cool giveaway? Teen Vogue and Neutrogena are offering two lucky readers a mega-booty prize. US residents, enter below in the comments section with your name, email and all-time favorite magazine and you’ll be entered to win one of two prizes:

A copy of the April issue of Teen Vogue signed by Emma Roberts, plus a set of Neutrogena products to replicate Emma’s cover look:

I get a lot of magazines and the best one by far has been InStyle. I love the diversity of the columns — beauty, clothes, home, food — and it’s usually pretty packed w/ info so it provides hours of entertainment.

Last year as part of a promotion, I got a free subscription to Teen Vogue, so even though I am past the target demographic, I can appreciate its value for young fashionistas in-training. Gorgeous photography combined with good interviews and pop culture content made it an enjoyable read. But because you ask for ‘all-time favorite’ I’m going to say Vanity Fair. Again, gorgeous photography, important commentary and news reporting, plus high society gossip makes it my favorite must-read. Thanks for another great contest Nadine!

I do have to say that I really enjoy reading Marie Claire, because it does not only have beauty articles but really do keep on current events and helps readers to be aware of these current events.

I am a huge fan of Emma Roberts- I think she will be a big actress for years to come. I would love to try Teen Vogue. I have never read it, mostly sticking to Instyle.

Ahh sadly, my top two are now out of print. Domino and Blueprint (especially!), we hardly knew ye. I’m still trying to find a good magazine that can fill a tiny bit of the gaping hole left by these two.

i used to LOVE seventeen…i definitely subscribed from ages 13 or so until my junior or senior year of college…haha! now my go-to’s are in style, allure, glamour, and my fave..elle!

I loved loved LOVED ShopEtc! The best part was the 3 versions of a clothing / furnishings / beauty look — high end, medium price, and rock bottom. Biggest disappointment ever when they went under.

I also like Allure, but in general I’d have to say Teen Vogue, actually! I’ve read it since high school (now a senior college about to graduate) and it seems to be the only magazine that doesn’t yell headlines obnoxiously! Like, “GREAT DEALS ON SHOES!” “FIND OUT WHAT GUYS LIKE TO SMELL” and so on. lol–it’s a little more chill and down to earth.

My favorite is Allure but I still pick up some of the teen mags when I am in waiting rooms. They often have much better steal vs. splurge tips than the women mags.

I love Elle, Lucky and In Style. Lucky is my favorite among the three because it truly show the readers what’s hot and how to put everything together.
