The wedding is over, my friends have all gone home, and I’m back in Dublin, here for one last night before flying to LA tomorrow.  It’s been an exhausting trip–eight time zones is the most I’ve ever had to adjust, and I’m still not over the jetlag!–but has been wonderful seeing old college friends, driving through the Irish countryside (truly, it was like the most gorgeous film set you can imagine!) and making some new memories.  One of the things I’m happiest to have taken away from this trip is the realization that Los Angeles is well and truly home to me now; I’ve been stunned by how much I miss LA, and how happy I am to be flying home tomorrow!
