Charlote Casiraghi at the Monaco Rose Ball 2011
I have such a fierce admiration for the glamorous Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco that I often assume everybody shares my fascination. Last night, my friend D. (author of the excellent TV blog TV Junkies Unite–please check it out) disabused me of that notion!
Like Kate Middleton, who I’ve had on daily Google Alert for years, I have Charlotte updates blasted to my inbox daily–just to make sure I’m not missing anything fabulous worth blogging. (Okay, and also because I like looking at pretty pictures of my favorite celebs. Sue me.) When I received updates yesterday about Charlotte and her brothers Andrea Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi co-hosting Monaco’s annual Rose Ball (Prince Albert and Princesses Caroline and Stephanie are in mourning following the death of their aunt Princess Antoinette), I was all excited.

“Isn’t she gorgeous?!” I trilled, showing D. my Blackberry like a proud aunt.
“Eh. I don’t get your fascination,” she responded. “Actually, I think she’s really horsey.”
What the what?! Worlds were rocked. Minds were blown.

Charlotte doesn’t look her best in these photos–completely understandable, given the recent death in the family–but I still think she’s one of the most gorgeous women on the planet, and a total Angelina Jolie doppelganger. (No? Just me..?)

I think she’s got beautiful features. I also think Grace Kelly was one of the most gorgeous women ever, so it’s not surprising. She looks only okay here. Is there something wrong with the lighting or did she have a mishap with bronzer? She looks a little Oompa Loompa-like on her forehead and around her mouth.
She is absolutely one of the most gorgeous women on the planet, and IMO much more beautiful than Angelina. I’m surprised that it took so long for most people here to catch on to her- I’ve kept up with her since she was 14. Her makeup looks a little too natural for an event that is as dressy as their annual Rose Ball, but even so she still looks great. She could be wearing no makeup and still look absolutely stunning. After all, she won the ultimate genetic lottery being Caroline’s daughter and Grace’s granddaughter.
I am totally on board the Charlotte train. She is STUNNING. Better than Angelina. I am fascinated by her as well. Beautiful, chic and Grace’s grandaughter and Caroline’s daughter. What’s not to like? Here in the US she doesn’t seem to generate much heat but she should. If sdhe got morte press here or came her more they’d be all over her. So Jolie- it’s not just you. Maybe it’s just us Royal crazy people ?

Finally someone else in the states that appreciates Charlotte as much as I do! I’ve been a fan of hers for YEARS! I think she is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and I have always thought she looks like Angelina, definitely not just you!!

Can’t you just want to decrease the beauty of Charlotte because of the lighting of bronzer, that your comment does transpire envy and spite, because only such people seek defect where none exists. This is very ugly. Tell me how many celebrities have you seen even in pictures that go around with a natural or no makeup and still be beautiful?
Don’t behave like a person pressed, behave like a decent and normal.
In my opinion Charlotte actually is the most flawless human being on Earth. I’ve been following her since 2005 and I had the amazing oportunity to meet her, and well, I can’t describe how ridiculously more beautiful she is in person. Angeline Jolie got nothing on her.
Carlota casiraghi is one of the most gorgeous human being ever existed. Kate Midleton is just an English thing, nothing special there. A normal English looking woman. So u must b fascinated by her, bcoz of a connection to English royalty.

Now watch her younger sister Alexandra, who in various photos is so affetionate to her older sister, brother and mother. And has smiling eyes to boot.
But perhaps we should not watch them so much and let them be, in case young Alexandra who is now so natural gets this wary, I am so wonderful look that Charlotte has.
