My, how you’ve grown, Joey Potter. What with the Suri and the Tom and the Scientology, it’s easy to forget how stunning Katie Holmes can be.
She’s been making the rounds recently. Yesterday, at the 56th Annual Drama Desk Awards:
Last week, at the Beauty Culture exhibit at Annenberg Space for Photography:

The first week of May, at the Wiesenthal Center dinner honoring her hubby Tom:
You get the picture. Looks like somebody’s engineering a comeback…
And, I must say: for all the flack Tom Cruise gets for being crazy or whatever, I really admire his work ethic. Tom is famous for spending hours in the rain shaking hands, signing autographs and taking photos at premieres, even after all the other actors have gone inside; he’s known to always tip generously; he’ll happily borrow your cell phone to leave your grandmother a message, etc, etc. In this age of entitled celebrities, don’t you think that’s refreshing?
While watching Access Hollywood last night, I saw Mary J. Blige divulge that Tom came to the first table reading for Rock of Ages in full costume for his character Stacee Jaxx. Sounds like Mary’s on board the Tom train, too. She said: “He’s just one of the most amazing people I’ve met in my life. Tom Cruise can really, really sing.”
I so can’t wait to see it!

Katie is totally my hair role model. I just wish she could smile with both sides of her face instead of just her right.
