Last weekend I got to check out the L’Oreal Paris Beauty Suite at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills where L’Oreal professionals were busy showcasing the hottest beauty trends for this year’s Golden Globes. Soft, subtle makeup, casual wavy hair, and metallic greige nails definitely took front stage on the red carpet. Will these looks indicate more of what’s to come this award season? I certainly hope so!
Read on for our favorites and a chance to win an amazing Golden Globes giveaway sponsored by L’Oreal Paris!
My absolute favorite of the night was Reese Witherspoon:
She looks absolutely stunning in that red dress complete with beach-tousled tresses, nude lips, and matte makeup. Work a volumizing product like the EveryStyle Alcohol-Free Volume Boosting Mousse from L’Oreal into damp hair, blow it dry, then wrap sections of hair with a 1 inch curling iron. Set waves with the Elnett Hairspray and you’ll be ready to go!
Angelina Jolie came in a strong second with her gorgeous raspberry red lips that matched with her dress. The rest of her makeup was classic Angelina – smoldering smokey eyes with a winged out liner and lush lashes. Try the new Voluminous Smoldering Liner and the Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara for that sexy cat-eye.
Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron both sported soft colors with defined eyes to compliment their gorgeous nude dresses. I love Nicole’s soft wavy hair and Charlize’s messy bun. For Nicole’s soft wavy hair, apply the EveryStyle Smooth and Shine Serum all over, dry with a round brush, the use a large barrel brush to curl soft curls at the end. For Charlize’s hair, curl the hair with a 2″ curling iron, smooth it with the EveryStyle Smooth and Shine Creme, then twirl it into a bun.
Another favorite was Jessica Biel. (Is she engaged or isn’t she?!) She pulled off her romantic lacy dress perfectly with soft pink lips and dark chocolate hair. That contrast between dark brunettes and soft feminine silhouettes is so Spring 2012. To get her hair, apply the EverStyle Volume Boosting Mousse, then wrap sections of hair with a large curling iron for soft romantic curls.
