Here’s the March cover of Glamour magazine, featuring Amanda Seyfried. According to the press release from Glamour HQ:
“Our March issue debuts an all new Glamour and every page is different, starting with our cover featuring Amanda Seyfried! You’ll notice that the cover does not have a typical solid background or traditional hand-on-hip pose, and that is just the beginning–every page inside has a new look too.”
I like to think of myself as open-minded, progressive and all about change…but when it comes to magazine relaunches (to say nothing to Facebook redesigns), I’m a grumpy old man! What say you? Do you like the change?

It looks more like an ad than a cover page. Plus the shadow effect of the title just cheapens it. Otherwise Amanda looks beautiful. I like the bright yellow hair dryer!
I like the photo but not the way the text is just in the middle of the page over the photo. It looks a little printshop deluxe.
re-design like this screams desperation, as though their identity is so muddled they have to broadcast their departments. the cover model is frozen and unrecognizable, too. she has a faint resemblance to Amanda but could be anyone.
