On October 19^th, for the third year in a row, Lancôme will host Génifique Day benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Lancôme will donate $7 from the sale of select Génifique products (including Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate and Génifique Eye Light-Pearl) to St. Jude.

Unfortunately, Génefique Day doesn’t extend to Génifique Cream Serum, Génifique Repair and Génifique Eye (what gives, Lancôme?!) but if you’ve been wanting to try Génefique Youth Activating Concentrate, might as well make it now. Reviews of this product have been mostly positive (see Makeup Alley and Sephora), although a few have taken issue with its high concentration of denatured alcohol, which can lead to acne and dryness. In general, however, the consensus seems to be: expensive, but worth it.
