Beauty How-To: Kerry Washington’s Hair and Makeup at the Golden Globes
Remember how I was all, “We’re going to see bangs non-stop on the red carpet!” last week, and then there were none? At least Kerry Washington got the memo.
I love this hairstyle: sleek, straight and shiny, made possible with heat styling spray, a finishing cream, and about 75 passes of the flat iron. Truly, if want to get your hair stick-straight like this, you need to run the flat iron over it several times in a row. As you can imagine, this isn’t great for your hair (even if it looks fantastic!) which is why that ol’ heat styling spray is a must.
According to the PR gods, who graced my inbox with many a beauty breakdown before, during and after tonight’s Golden Globes ceremony, Kerry’s bob was achieved with John Frieda Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray (which is spritzed on wet hair) and John Frieda Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Crème (on dry). I haven’t used the 3-Day Spray, but Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon is among my all-time favorite styling products, and is a must for your beauty cabinet.
Oh, and if you’re curious about Kerry’s makeup, it’s:
