This one’s for Danielle, who commented in my royals post last week asking for some intel on my travel skincare routine for long-haul flights:
Q: I’m going on a long-haul flight in a few months for the first time in many years. I’ve been searching for ways to protect my skin from the going nuts during the flight and also easy travel makeup tips. I’m not someone who likes going bare-faced anywhere but the gym and to bed, but I understand that my usual makeup routine may be too heavy for a 10 hour travel day. If it matters, I’ll be traveling to the South of France in November, so I’ll already be battling winter skin. I’ve been thinking of face oils or hydrating masks. Something like that. Can you tell us your routine? Or some good tips? Thanks!
Recently, E. and I visited the cute Florida seaside town of Delray Beach and stayed at the Marriott Delray Beach Villas By the Sea. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were blown away by the quality, attention to detail, and charm of the Villas By the Sea. Here’s why we can’t wait to stay again!
It’s that time of the month again: Luxury Travel Blog Network roundup here!
I’m currently in Miami, visiting E.’s hometown and showing him where my mom grew up (we also hit Key West, Palm Beach and Delray Beach, so more on those trips to come soon). We’ll hop right to it, taking a peek at what some of our fellow Luxury Travel members have been up to this month, including safari in South Africa, the perfect weekend in Paris, and advice on how to send your kids on international travel.
Wait, it’s June already? The year is speeding by, as always. Deep breaths. Let’s get right to it!
This month’s Luxury Travel Blog Network saw Mrs. O Around the World fly Business Class on Qatar Airlines from Doha to London. (Lucky, lucky girl.) If you’ve flown internationally in Business Class, you’re basically spoiled for all other travel forever. (And I can only imagine how wrecked you are after tasting First. I once flew on a private jet for a beauty press trip, and it was the most glamorous thing in the history of mankind.) Qatar Airline’s First Class Lounge, by the by, looks ridiculously posh.
