My inbox is currently clogged with “Steal this look!” emails from publicists.  Following is the makeup look for Lancôme ambassador Kate Winslet, who I thought looked stunning and can do no wrong, beauty-wise, in my eyes.

Foundation: Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.

Cheeks: Avon Be Blushed in Blushing Nude

Eye liner: Jillian Dempsey For Avon Professional Kohl Eye Liner in Navy

Mascara: Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara in Excessive Black

Lips: For Kate’s matte lip, which she requested, Jillian topped lip liner with Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in Rich Cashmere for a soft, pretty finish.

Yes, that’s right–McDreamy has a fragrance, and it’s super sexy!  Created for Avon (where Patrick’s wife Jillian Dempsey is Creative Color Director), Patrick Dempsey 2 is a spicy oriental with notes including saffron, mandarin, nutmeg, wood, green fig, and patchouli.

Reese Witherspoon was on my mind last night.  I went with R. and J. for a girls’ dinner at Dan Tana’s–the famous West Hollywood Italian eatery–and we sat next to Ryan Phillippe.  He was as gorgeous as you’d expect an actor to be, but rather than be besotted by him, all I could think was, “That guy used to be married to Reese Witherspoon.”  It impressed me, oddly, which I suppose shows the high regard in which my subconscious holds Reese!

Today, news broke that Reese will be releasing a fragrance with Avon called In Bloom, inspired by the hot Southern nights she experienced as a child, and laced with gardenia.  I’m already betting I’ll love it.  Gardenia scents usually get me, plus, it has top notes of Georgia peach and an amber wood drydown–delicious!  The fragrance debuts this fall.

Should I really call it “Daily Links”?  Maybe “When I Feel Like It Links” would be more appropriate.
