…while pretty much every other airline food option on the planet remains terrible.
Air France is one of my favorite airlines because, all kidding aside, even their economy class food is awesome. Plus: baguettes, wine and champagne! You really can’t go wrong.
I haven’t been in their business class but I’ve flown economy with them loads of times and they truly are one of the best airlines around. (E. and I had a mind-blowingly awesome customer service experience with them last summer that earned our Air France loyalty and gratitude forever.)
Food’s about to get even better for those lucky enough to travel Air France business class (ooh! me! me!), thanks to triple Michelin-starred chef Régis Marcon. His creations will kick off April 1st, and on the Paris to Tokyo-Narita leg on April 22, Marcon will personally present his first dishes–stewed green lentils with shrimp, braised shoulder of lamb with figs, and free-range chicken with black morels–on board.
Previous Air France partnerships have included world-renowned chefs like Joël Robuchon, Guy Martin, Michel Roth, and Thibaut Ruggeri. Not too shabby, indeed.
