I’m up against a deadline for my next book, which is why it’s been a little quieter ’round these parts recently. So, consider this a Mini Ramble: Duchess Kate in Australia edition!

I just saw while procrastinating from writing the book (obviously) that the blue and white Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress that Duchess Kate wore today in Australia sold out in eight minutes flat. I can see why: it’s adorable! I love her trusty Stuart Weitzman cork wedge heels, too.

Earlier in the day, they flew into Sydney after 10 days in New Zealand. Will ‘n Kate did the royalty whistle stop tour, first checking out the Sydney Opera House, then the Three Sisters at Echo Point, a landmark in the Blue Mountains. E. and I didn’t have a chance to see the Three Sisters or (sob!) Ayers Rock on this trip, but I was surprised by how much the Sydney Opera House blew me away in person: it was hands-down one of my favorite sites on our own honeymoon.
