The Venus Perfect Match campaign is all about finding the Perfect Match for your lifestyle and your shaving needs. I had a blast chatting with the women on set about various moments related to shaving, like getting ready for an evening out, the panic that comes when you realize you have somewhere to be and you’re not shaved, and the bummer of irritation from dull razors. (Also on the table was that eternal date night conundrum: do you wear the Granny panties, or do you wear the sexy panties? Discuss!)

Gillette Venus is releasing two brand new razors this month designed to help women find their own Perfect Match: Venus Embrace Sensitive and Venus Snap with Embrace razors. The Venus & Olay razor, meanwhile, has been my personal favorite for a while. It’s such a godsend for lazy girls, which must mean that my Perfect Match involves cutting corners!

• Venus Embrace Sensitive: The new Venus Embrace Sensitive razor provides a closer shave with less irritation (vs. the Venus Original 3-bladed razor). Venus conducted a study and found that 60% of women felt their sensitive skin was getting in the way of a close, smooth shave – and learned that women who believe they have sensitive skin may actually just experience irritation from using the wrong or dull razor.
