Remember last week when I posted about the Urban Decay Electric Palette? Now that the website is live, I can finally post images of the looks I created using the shadows.
Alas, my looks were not chosen to be featured on the website alongside some of my friends, which of course sent me into a blogger shame spiral. Was it my shoddy makeup work? My smile?? My eyebrows?!
C’est la vie.
Sometimes you want your makeup to look subtle, natural, ethereal. Think Elle Fanning, Cate Blanchett, peaches and cream.
And sometimes you just want to have fun with makeup. (Paging Lady Gaga.)
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to preview the brand-new Urban Decay Electric Palette. I’m not quite sure what I was expecting, but when I opened it up and took a look at the colors, I was like, “Um…is this a palette for drunk clowns?” They are BRIGHT.
